Magnetic Mount: The magnetic mount provides a convenient and temporary method for installing acceleration sensors on ferrous material surfaces. When selecting the size of the magnetic mount, choose one that is slightly larger than the base of the acceleration sensor.
Adhesive Mounting Base: The adhesive mounting base is used for conveniently bonding the acceleration sensor to the test surface. First, firmly bond the mounting base to the test object using a suitable adhesive (such as epoxy resin, quick-drying adhesive, or paraffin wax), then secure the acceleration sensor to the adhesive mounting base with bolts. Using an adhesive mounting base effectively eliminates the sensor installation hole blockage caused by direct contact between the sensor and the adhesive. The acceleration sensor can be easily transferred to mounting bases in different locations. All mounting bases are machined from lightweight aluminum alloy, and the surface texture facilitates the use of adhesives. The hard coating provides electrical insulation between the test object and the acceleration sensor. To ensure a proper installation, select a hexagonal adhesive mounting base that matches the hexagonal size of the acceleration sensor. If a suitable one is not available, choose an adhesive mounting base with a slightly larger hexagon.
Triaxial Mounting Base: Used to adapt three standard single-axis acceleration sensors into a single triaxial acceleration sensor.
Mounting Bolts and Screws: Mounting bolts are used to secure the sensor to the test object. To ensure accurate testing, please use the recommended installation torque to install the acceleration sensor. Be careful to avoid the bolt bottoming out on the test object or being screwed into the installation hole of the acceleration sensor. Using shouldered bolts can prevent bottoming out, but it must be ensured that the sensor base counterbore can accommodate the bolt shoulder. Once installed, the acceleration sensor base should be in close contact with the surface of the test object.
